Morongo Honored for Supporting Local Business Community

Award presented at the Banning Chamber of Commerce Installation Dinner recognizes the tribe’s commitment to the region.

BANNING, CA -The Morongo Band of Mission Indians was recognized for its continuing support of the Banning Chamber of Commerce during the chamber's annual installation and awards dinner, held at 

Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon on Saturday April 2. 

Tribal Council Chairman Robert Martin and Tribal Council Member Anne Robinson accepted the Chamber Partner proclamation, presented by the California State Board of Equalization, Fourth District.

“Morongo is proud to support the Banning Chamber of Commerce and its important work in advocating for the success of local businesses that create jobs and drive economic opportunity to help our region thrive,” Martin said.

Numerous elected and business leaders attended the event, including members of the Banning City Council and Riverside County 5th District Supervisor Marion AshIey.
