BANNING, Calif. – Eight hundred students from across the San Gorgonio Pass received new brand-name shoes and backpacks stuffed with school supplies on Monday as part of an annual program funded by the Morongo Charity Golf Tournament to aid children and families in need.

20th Annual Morongo Charity Golf Tournament Raises $60,000 for Children in Need

The yearly tournament has raised nearly $1.25 million for local non-profits and service agencies since its launch.

BEAUMONT, Calif. (June 14, 2016) – For the 20th year in a row, golfers hit the links for charity at Morongo’s annual golf tournament to raise money for new backpacks, school supplies and shoes for more than 800  low-income schoolchildren in the San Gorgonio Pass.
