Golf Tournament Raises $25K for Charity

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass held its third annual golf tournament on Monday, June 25 and raised $25,308 to help fund the organization.

The golf tournament, held at Morongo Country Club at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont, was sponsored by Pardee Homes and featured a four-man scramble format. The 18-hole tournament drew 134 local golfers who were also treated to breakfast and a banquet. There was an auction, too.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass is a non-profit youth development agency. It has served the region’s youths since 2006 and has clubhouses in Banning, Beaumont and Cabazon. It offers before and after school programs for children, as well as spring, winter and summer-break programs.
