Hosted by the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon, the milestone tournament has now provided nearly $3 million to local non-profits over three decades.
BEAUMONT, Calif. – The rolling hills of the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon served as the stage for the 30th Annual Morongo Charity Golf Tournament, where hundreds of golfers rallied together to raise $160,000 to benefit local youth, Native American families, and the nation’s veterans.

Held October 19-20, the two-day tournament at Morongo’s 36-hole championship golf course generated $100,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass, which provides after-school programs, mentorship, and family support to more than 3,000 local children annually.
The event also raised $30,000 for Inner Tribal Treatment, which supports substance use recovery and wellness services for Native American communities, and $30,000 for Working Dogs for Warriors, a Rancho Cucamonga-based nonprofit dedicated to providing trained service dogs to post-9/11 combat veterans living with post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.
“Each of the organizations benefitting from this year’s Morongo Charity Golf Tournament is making a meaningful difference, from giving local kids safe places to learn and grow, to supporting Native American wellness, to supporting the men and women who have served our country,” said Morongo Tribal Council Vice Chair James Siva, co-chair of the tournament. “Morongo is excited to once again be helping to uplift our communities through our milestone 30th anniversary golf tournament.”

The tournament featured a “Beat the Pro” challenge at Hole #2, which gave players the opportunity to have the tournament’s professional golfer take a swing on their behalf, or to go head-to-head against her in a competitive shot. Each participant received a raffle entry, with prizes awarded on the spot, and proceeds benefitting Right Fit Animal Rescue, a Yucaipa-based organization dedicated to finding loving homes for animals in need. Players have raised over $10,000 over the past two years for the rescue through this fan-favorite activity.
“Year after year, Morongo’s commitment to our community reminds our kids that they are valued,” said Megan Grisham, chief operating officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass. “The Tribe’s support is helping provide mentors, programs, and safe spaces where our local youth can learn, grow and unlock their potential. We are deeply grateful to Morongo for standing with us in our work.”
“We are deeply grateful for Morongo’s support,” said Daisy Welsh, CEO and co-founder Working Dogs for Warriors. “Every service dog we provide represents a life transformed; a veteran who can now sleep through the night, leave the house, and reconnect with family. This gift will help us continue that mission.”

Robert Aguilar, CEO and founder of Inner Tribal Treatment in Pauma Valley in San Diego County, congratulated Morongo on its 30 years of impact and giving to communities through the golf tournament.
“The support from the Morongo Charity Golf Tournament will directly strengthen our organization’s ability to continue providing culturally sensitive substance use disorder treatment to Native individuals and families. Our people deserve healing that honors who they are, and Morongo’s generosity makes that possible, and for that we are deeply grateful,” Aguilar said.
Launched in 1997, the Morongo Charity Golf Tournament has raised nearly $3 million over three decades to support dozens of local nonprofits serving children, schools, veterans, and hospitals across the region. This year’s 30th anniversary underscored Morongo’s enduring legacy of community giving.

The tournament was held at the 36-hole Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon, the local home of the Southern California PGA and the longtime host of the annual IOA Championship on the Epson Tour, the official qualifying tour of the LPGA.
