Statement of Purpose
The Morongo Tribal TANF Program (MTTP) requests proposals from qualified vendors to provide afterschool
tutoring for eligible student participants at the two MTTP offices located in Banning, CA and San
Bernardino, CA as well as online tutoring; services are estimated to start in August/September 2025. Tutors
will assist students with varying degrees of ability from Kindergarten to 12th Grade with homework on a
variety of subjects, provide activities to develop and grow skills in a variety of subjects depending on student
need, and to prepare students for assessments, mandated state testing, and college preparatory testing.
