Bus Driver

Description

Under the direction of the Transportation Manager, operate school bus safely and efficiently while transporting students on assigned routes and locations in compliance with California Highway Patrol regulations.  Ensure passenger safety and conduct daily bus inspections and maintenance.

Para Transit Driver

Description

Under the direction of the Transportation Manager, incumbent will drive a Para Transit vehicle in the San Gorgonio Pass area to transport tribal elders, seniors 55+, students and persons with disabilities. The driver is required to push, pull and/or maneuver passengers and their wheelchair which can weigh between 200 – 450 lbs. 

Qualifications

  • Valid California Class B Driver License with passenger endorsement.

Respond to crime and accident scenes, emergency situations and other requests for assistance.  Duties include, but are not limited to, patrol assigned areas, assist with money pulls and prepare daily logs. 

Qualifications

 

  • Mandatory possession of current California Guard Card, Weapons Permit, PC 832 and Level 1.
  • Minimum of six months related experience and POST Certificate required.
  • A clean driving record and insurability on Company insurance policy is a requirement.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required prior to date of hire.

The Security Officer II is an armed position responsible for protecting tribal assets in the Casino and provides general security for customers and employees. When required will be responsible for armed escorts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Protect Tribal assets against loss or theft, and provide armed escorts as needed.
• Stand assigned security post throughout the Casino.
• Provide security during the daily pull.
• Conduct the drop from the various gaming tables.
• Deliver chip fills from the main cashier’s cage to a table when requested.
• Provide cash vouchers to video personnel for problem machine payouts.
• Provide general armed security for casino patrons and customers.
• Enforce Casino and Security Department Policies & Procedures.

Administrate Tribal Cultural Resource management consultations (CRM) with Local, State, Federal agencies. Collaborate in work responsibilities for Cultural events – Morongo Cultural Day’s, Pow -Wow, Rodeo and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Strong background in research focused on Indian scholarship, including, formal training in policy, history, linguistics and anthropology.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in cultural program development with an emphasis in native fine arts, traditional performing arts, or historical preservation.
  • The ability to conduct research, write and communicate effectively is required.
  • Solid acknowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Native American Studies, Anthropology or a related field preferred.
  • Experience can be substituted for education.
