Description

Perform dispatch communications services and appropriate emergency notification assistance for the Morongo Band of Mission Indians and its residents, government facilities/staff, and the Morongo’s business interests. Serve as a communication link in emergency situations until the situation is resolved; answer overflow emergency and non-emergency calls; provide emergency dispatch self-help; and make notification calls to staff, and other agencies on incidents as needed.  

Qualifications

 

  • Prior experience as a Public Safety (fire, police) Dispatcher preferred. 
  • Must have experience working on computers and type a minimum of 35 wpm with a minimal amount of errors. 
  • High School Diploma/GED required, supplemented by specialized training in dispatch communications or a related field. 
  • Possess CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days of hire

Description

Incumbent will perform duties in support of Hadley Fruit Orchards direct mail efforts. Provide superior customer service to our mail order customers.  Candidate will follow all appropriate policies and procedures to take customer orders, answer questions on Hadley’s products, and resolve problems involving orders/payment/services.  Take incoming telephone calls from customers and operate a PC to access/input customer data.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of one (1) year customer service experience required. 
  • In addition, great communication and multi-task skills is required; plus have ability to type 30+ w.p.m. 
  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Word/Excel preferred.

Shipping associate

Description

Assist Shipping department with completing mail order requests. Assemble baskets and packages based on orders. Duties include, but are not limited to, taking inventory, examining merchandise (to identify items to be reordered and/or replenished), receiving and opening packages, and unpacking cartons/crates of merchandise. In addition, verify invoice against items received, and attach or change price tags on merchandise according to price list.

Qualifications

 

  • Availability to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
  • Good attendance.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs required.
  • Experience making gift baskets.
  • Packing, stocking and lifting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

 

  • AA’s and relevant certifications and minimum of five years of experience in social Services, case management, advocacy, etc.
  • Or any combination equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related field and three or more years of experience in social Services.
  • Prior experience with Tribes or supporting Native Americans perferred
  • Preferably, minimum of one year of Conservatorship related experience.

Player services attendant

Location Morongo Golf Club
Description

Serve members and guests by maintaining golf cart and range conditions and attending to golf bags. Greet all members and guests; provide instruction on proper cart handling and the loading of clubs on the golf carts, as needed. Ensure an adequate level of range balls; collect, clean and deliver balls; rotate mats; ensure functioning of lighting equipment, and tee alignment; maintain clean water in club cleaner and ball washer. Other duties include trash removal, golf ball picking, culling of cracked or damaged range balls.

Qualifications

 

  • The ability to operate the following equipment: golf cart, golf ball picker, ball washer, ball dispenser, pressure washer and golf cart jack.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills are required for this position.

Description

Responsible for assisting in the care and supervision of students, as well as the delivery of learning activities for students at various grade-levels.  These activities will take place in classrooms, on playgrounds, during bus loading and unloading, and with other school related tasks, as assigned. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, receiving and signing in children, creating documents and reports, and performing simple clerical duties.

Description

Under the direction of the Environmental Department Manager, the Environmental Specialist I is responsible for carrying out the objectives of the Morongo Environmental Protection Department including entry-level tasks under the Tribal Air, Tribal Water, Resource Conservation, and Pollution Prevention Programs.  Activities may include monitoring equipment maintenance, data collection/management, recycling and hazardous wastes management, education/outreach activities, and environmental surveys to ensure compliance with federal and tribal environmental regulations and policies.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies/Sciences, Geography, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working on environmental protection issues preferred but not required.

Maintenance Custodian

Description

Under the direction of the General Manager, perform the following tasks: clean the entire store, restrooms, slot area, and the outside restrooms; power washes the outside of the building, pump area and islands, the car wash and parking lots.  Perform minor repairs to car wash, store and fuel pumps. Dispense propane and assist customers with R.V. dumping. Maintain maintenance logs daily.

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of one (1) year related experience.
  • Training in gas station custodial duties is preferred.

Description

Description

The Public Safety Officer II is an armed position responsible for protecting tribal assets in and around the casinos and provides for the safety, security and wellbeing of patrons and employees. Protects Tribal assets against loss or theft, and provide armed escorts as needed. Conducts gaming tables drops, chip fills, and asset escorts. Will provide security during the cash pulls. Stand assigned posts & respond to breaches of the peace. Enforce Policies & Procedures and criminal law & will assist outside law enforcement partnering agencies as required. Interact with patrons and team members in a positive, professional manner. Participate in continuous training programs including semi-annual firearms qualifications. May be assigned to specialized assignments and exterior public safety duties to include bike or vehicle patrol. Performs other public safety related duties as assigned.
