Administrative Assistant

Description

Perform varied and responsible secretarial and administrative assistant duties to relieve the Chief of Reservation Patrol of clerical detail.  Organize office activities and communications. Research and compile a variety of information.  Process and evaluate various forms and applications related to assigned functions; duplicate and distribute materials as needed.  Also, serve as a resource to guests and employees concerning policies and procedures.  Other duties include, but not limited to, word processing, record keeping, answer phones and filing.

Player Services Attendant

Description

Serve members and guests by maintaining golf cart and range conditions and attending to golf bags. Greet all members and guests; provide instruction on proper cart handling and the loading of clubs on the golf carts, as needed. Ensure an adequate level of range balls; collect, clean and deliver balls; rotate mats; ensure functioning of lighting equipment, and tee alignment; maintain clean water in club cleaner and ball washer. Other duties include trash removal, golf ball picking, culling of cracked or damaged range balls

Qualifications

WATER SYSTEMS OPERATOR

Description

Incumbent will perform a variety of journey level skilled tasks in the following areas: Installation and maintenance of water appurtenances and distribution system including: motors, pumps, water plant facilities utilizing SCADA control, participating in rotational stand-by On Call, provide customer service, performs as a lead worker, operates heavy equipment and related tools.

  • Knowledge of motorized equipment (loaders, backhoes, dump truck).

Speech therapist

Description

Under the direction of the Education Administrator, the Speech Therapist’s provides specialized therapy, instruction, consultation and services for students who have disorders of language and speech which includes hearing, voice, and fluency; performs language assessments; assists in developing the Individualized Educational Plan, consults and collaborates with teachers and parents regarding strategies which enable access and progress in the classroom; monitors student progress; prepares reports; assists in transitions from grade level to grade level. Services may be individual, or provided in a small group setting, depending upon the direction of the IEP team or the Student Intervention Team. Other responsibilities related to the position as assigned by the Education Administrator.

Qualifications

 

  • Current Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential (Language, Speech and Hearing); Speech and Language Pathology Services Credential; or other credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing holder to provide students with speech, language and hearing services.
  • Special education teaching credentials and experience desirable, but not required.
  • Valid CA driver license and insurability on Morongo vehicle insurance.

Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Manager, assist servers on delivering food to guest at the dining/bar establishment.  Provide quality guest service in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable fashion.  Maintain the cleanliness of the dining/bar room.  Also responsible for keeping orders organized and timing the course of service for guests.

Qualifications

Description

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform dispatch communications services and appropriate emergency notification assistance for the Morongo Band of Mission Indians and its residents, government facilities/staff, and the Morongo’s business interests. Serve as a communication link in emergency situations until the situation is resolved; answer overflow emergency and non-emergency calls; provide emergency dispatch self-help; and make notification calls to staff, and other agencies on incidents as needed.

Qualifications

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated skill with presenting and summarizing information in a variety of written formats, using clear and concise language.
  • Must have experience working on computers and type a minimum of 35 wpm with a minimal amount of errors.
  • Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends and willing to come into work when called upon during scheduled days off. 
  • Must be very detail oriented and thorough in completing work tasks.

Observe casino gaming, via “closed-circuit television” to ensure compliance with NIGC rules and the Tribal Gaming ordinances. Assist casino/hotel operations with investigations when necessary.

Officer II - Public Safety

Description

The Public Safety Officer II is an armed position responsible for protecting tribal assets in and around the casinos and provides for the safety, security and wellbeing of patrons and employees. When required will be responsible for armed escorts and other public safety duties as assigned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  •  Protect Tribal assets against loss or theft, and provide armed escorts as   needed.
  • Stand assigned posts.
  • Provide security during the cash pulls.
  • Conduct gaming tables drops, chip fills, and asset escorts.
  • Respond to breaches of the peace. 
  • Provide general armed security for casino patrons and customers. 
  • Enforce Policies & Procedures and criminal law. 
  • Assist outside law enforcement partnering agencies as required. 
  • Interact with patrons and team members in a positive, professional manner. 
  • Participate in continuous training programs including semi-annual firearms qualifications. 
  • May be assigned to specialized assignments and exterior public safety duties to include bike or vehicle patrol. 
  • Performs other public safety related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
