Sajeed (Titu) Asghar: Chief Executive Officer
With over two decades of professional experience, Titu’s career spans over multiple industries, including hospitality, government affairs, international development, and financial services. Over the last 12 years, Titu focused on Tribal Nations, helping tribes expand their foothold in diversified economic development and investments. Currently, Titu serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Morongo Band of Mission Indians in Southern California. In that capacity, Titu oversees all government programs, realty functions, economic development, and the Tribe’s diversified enterprises including the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, 36-pump gas station and convenience store, and realty holdings, to name a few. Titu’s other tribal experiences include San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in Southern California and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in Oregon. Prior to working in Indian Country, Titu worked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area as a Buy-Side Analyst, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and he also worked with an international development firm in Washington, D.C. collaborating with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Bank on international development work in Eastern Europe and South East Asia. Titu graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and holds a master’s degree in International Affairs, as well as an MBA in Investment Finance. Titu is also a member of the CFA Institute.
